Twenty years of taking large programs into production, the last several of them AI programs in regulated banking.
I started as an engineer on telecom protocol stacks and operating-system performance tooling, moved into program and product leadership at IBM, then into large-scale data and AI delivery for American Express. At HP Inc I ran program delivery for an R&D organization building AI products for the enterprise. Since late 2024 I have led AI strategy and delivery programs for banks and credit unions.
I am technical enough to hold the architecture and trade-off conversation and to build my own tools with AI, and I am not the person writing the production code. My job is the part between an approved use case and a capability people actually use: architecture review, risk, compliance, core integration, and change management.
Along the way I have written five books on AI and banking, mentored through MentorNet for two decades, and kept a habit of turning repeatable work into reusable assets, from an IBM automation asset built with Distinguished Engineers to the banking accelerators program I lead today.
